Show and Tell
Show and Tell is an extension of our monthly theme. Children
are able to bring in
up to three non-violent objects that relate
to the current monthly topic.Your child
will have a turn each
month to bring in Show and Tell items.
VIP Day
The Very Important Person” day is a special day
for each child. On this day, your
child will have the opportunity
to share with the rest of the class a little bit about
themselves,
their family, and interests. This can be done in a variety of
ways:
making a collage of favorite toys, food, and people;
showing a scrapbook of firsts”
in their life or
bringing someone special to talk to the class. Any other ideas
that you
have would be fine too! Your child is invited to bring
in his/her favorite book from
home to be read at school that
day. You will be sent home a VIP poster to completed
and brought
back on your childs VIP day.
