Waconia Nursery School is an early childhood program
designed to promote a child's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive
growth. A developmentally appropriate curriculum in a warm and stimulating
environment promotes curiosity, self esteem, cooperation, creativity,
learning, and fun.
Waconia Nursery School provides excellent opportunities for children to
develop language, fine-motor skills, creative expression, and the enhancement
of natural curiosity. Learning by doing is promoted at Waconia Nursery
School. Social skills are learned as children participate in interactive
play involving other people and objects. Children are stimulated through
the use of meaningful activities and challenging materials.
Cooperation, helping, and negotiating are promoted to teach positive
social skills. Planned and taught by a certified pre-kindergarten
teacher with the help of an assistant, the daily program is balanced
between
teacher-directed and child-initiated activities. Meet our teachers
Tiffany Meuleners and Jennifer Loutzenhiser. Click
